Indian Creek Trail was started in 2005 by Jake and Debbie Hayes. It is located 3 miles south of Afton, Iowa on Highway 169. The course consists of 40 3-D targets including bear, deer, turkey, elk and beaver. There are shots from 20-40 yards to challenge archers of every level. Targets are moved on a regular basis to keep the course challenging at each visit. We also have a practice target bag set up
with a 70 yard range to help get you warmed up!
Indian Creek Trail is open 7 days a week from March 8th - September 28, 2008
on the honor system.
A mailbox, with score cards and envelopes is set up for your convenience
with a drop slot to deposit your shooting fees. We also host a bowshoot
1-2 times per month (click here for 2008 schedule).
The scheduled shoots are rain or shine and registration is
from 8:00 - 2:00. Food and drinks are available.
Cost: $10/person (14 and under free).
There is also archery equipment for sale from B&A Archery at most of the shoots.
